Covered parking without building a garage

Our 3 × 6m portable carport gives your vehicle covered parking in an afternoon, with no building plans, no concrete slab and no contractor. A galvanised steel frame on eight legs carries a heavy-duty 180gsm roof cover. Four removable walls let you choose how much protection you need: leave the sides open for an airy carport, or close them up to fully enclose your car, boat, trailer or garden equipment.

At 6 metres long and 2.75 metres high, it comfortably houses a full-size double-cab bakkie.

Open or fully enclosed: you choose

• Two roll-up doors at the front and back. Roll them up and tie them off to drive in and out, or drop them down to close the shelter.
• Two sidewalls with mesh windows let air flow through while keeping the sun off, which helps prevent heat and condensation building up inside.
• All walls are removable. Take them off for an open-sided carport or keep them on for full cover.

Built on a solid frame

• 8 legs for stability along the full 6m length.
• Galvanised steel tubing (38mm diameter) resists rust.
• Powder-coated steel connectors (42mm × 1.2mm) join the frame at every corner and ridge. They're bolted together, not just push-fit.
• Base plates on each leg can be bolted or pegged to the ground for a secure setup.

Important: anchoring and weather

Always anchor the carport securely to the ground using the base plates. Take the walls off, or take the carport down, before strong winds or severe storms. Enclosed walls catch wind like a sail. The carport is designed for sun, rain and general weather protection; it is not a permanent structure.

Delivery note: The carport ships in a single 79kg carton, so you'll need two people to offload and carry it.
