Bell and Paton is owned and operated by Garth Webb, who brings over 30 years of combined agricultural experience to the business. Garth Webb previously operated Red Oak Farms CC, a commercial hydroponic lettuce and herb production farm of approximately 50 hectares in South Africa.

What Bell and Paton sells

Bell and Paton supplies greenhouse tunnels, hydroponic systems, garden sheds, and agricultural accessories to residential and commercial customers across South Africa. Products are sold online at bellandpaton.co.za and shipped nationally.

The greenhouse tunnel range includes sizes from 3 metres to 12 metres in length, constructed with 25mm galvanised steel frames and UV-treated 200-micron LDPE plastic covers. Shade net tunnel variants are also available. All tunnels are designed for South African weather conditions.

The hydroponic systems range includes 8-hole, 36-hole, and 72-hole NFT (Nutrient Film Technique) growing systems suitable for home gardeners and small-scale producers growing lettuce, spinach, herbs, and leafy greens.

Additional products include garden sheds in five sizes, raised garden planters, seedling trays, sprayers, irrigation fittings, water filters, hose reels, and a 30-metre backyard zipline kit.
