Our greenhouses keep the inside growing environment warmer than the outside. More warmth inside the greenhouse means that crops grow faster. Bell and Paton have upgraded their greenhouse plastic to a 200-micron agricultural grade Low-Density Polyethylene (LDPE), offering enhanced durability and UV resistance compared to previous models.-Specification sheet attached in pics.
The upgraded LDPE material provides greater strength, making the plastic more resistant to tearing and wear, even in challenging weather conditions. The new design features fewer seams across all models, significantly reducing the risk of tearing in high winds and ensuring a more robust and long-lasting covering for your greenhouse. Additionally, the new and improved vents enhance airflow within the greenhouse, allowing better temperature regulation and reducing the risk of overheating, ensuring optimal growing conditions for plants. The upgraded plastic now offers excellent light transmission, ensuring that plants receive the maximum amount of natural sunlight, which is crucial for their growth and development. It also features improved drip reduction technology to minimize droplet formation on the plastic, maintaining a clearer surface and preventing excess moisture from affecting plant health.
All plastic covers are now manufactured locally in South Africa, ensuring a reliable supply chain with no risk of shortages due to import delays.
The roll-up windows along the side of the greenhouse are made from 40%, UV treated, white shade net and will NOT disintegrate.
We have also upgraded our poles. All poles are now 25mm galvanised and 1mm thick. This is 40% thicker than any of the other greenhouses out there. All manufacturing is now completed in our factory in Honeydew. We guarantee that our products are superior to any other products on the market.
The 4m x 3m x 2m greenhouse is the perfect size for a medium sized veggie, ornamental, flower or succulent garden. The 4m offers a 12m2 planting area and the 2m height means that a person can easily stand up inside the greenhouse. It also facilitates the training up of vine crops up to 2m and allows space for hanging baskets. The 4m x 3m x 2m is the ideal greenhouse for the avid, medium sized, home farmer.
Bell & Paton 4m x 3m x 2m greenhouses have the following specifications:

- These poles manufactured and assembled in the Bell and Paton factory in Honeydew, Johannesburg South Africa.
- Unlike all other tunnels on the market currently, Bell and Paton 25mm tunnel poles are 1mm thick providing exceptional strength to the structure.
